A captcha for login and registration would be a good idea.
A Russian spammer seems to have created a number of users and is now spamming with youtube links to a game.
A conference is coming up in London about using internet in a participatory & cooperative way for democracy.
It would be beneficial if someone familiar with Free Software could join the conference, point out solutions that may already be available and emphasis development of Free Software as a standard for mass participation in internet based democratic process.
They are probably going to invest a lot of money to develop this and it is best if that money was invested on Free Software...

Thank you, a bit difficult because the windows was preinstalled when the computer was bought and I don't have the keys, even though later it was updated to windows 10 but I still don't have any keys because windows 10 was free at the time.
Two computers is a good idea but does not help continuous work on common files unless a third shared disc system is set up which would come with additional costs.
I have an idea to add switches to hard discs to be able to switch them off at start-up which should be a less costly solution. This way I should be able to start Trisquel without the presence of the windows disc. The computer has three hard discs; each operating system can be given its own hard.
Happy New Year
For practical reasons I still have to do some of my computer work on Windows.
I have a windows 10 and want to intall the latest Trisquel along side it.
I have three hard discs and want to install trisquel on one of them.
However Trisquel's intallation application cannot see windows 10, something that didn't happen with windows 7.
Does anyone know how it can be done?
We don't really need to make a free software website sound nationalistic. People in other countries haven't done so. We need something that is broad and inviting to get people engaged.
Generally in the about description a sentence can be put in to say it has been set up in UK ....
Hi

Hi
Well done for taking steps to create a UK Free Software forum.
I am not a computer engineer, simply a fan of Free Software.
Have had ideas of starting something in UK, but never got round to it.
I hope this forum with attract many people.
I'll give links to people who may be interested and will leave links in social media.
The forum website is a bit twitchy (logs out when moving to different pages) but its good for a begining.
Can't see the avatar I uploaded.
All the best
